IETL & CoSN Member Profiles

Welcome IETL Members! See below steps for managing your IETL ParentSquare profile and your CoSN organization profile.

If you need additional help or have questions, please feel free to contact the IETL board!

  • See steps below to edit your notification preferences, how often IETL sends you messages, and which devices or contact info to send messages too:

    • Log into ParentSquare (or visit by clicking here, you are already logged in!)
    • Visit your name and person icon (top-right)
    • Select Manage Account
    • Select Notification Settings in the left-hand navigation
    • For the IETL organization, select Off, Instant, or Digest for email, phone, and app messages
      • Off – No messages will be sent to you by this notification type
      • Instant – Every post or message posted will send an immediate, individual notification to you for this notification type
      • Digest – You will recieve a notification every day with all posts or messages combined into one message
    • There are ‘Alert’ urgent messages in ParentSquare that will send all users an immediate individual notification, but those are rarely used by IETL for messaging.  The green on/off slider relates to the ‘alert’ urgent message type.
    • Please note: if the selectors for Off, Instant, or Digest are greyed out, then you have not added contact info for those methods of notification.  You can edit contact info in ParentSquare by visiting settings in your account.
  • Contact info acn be added/edited in your ParentSquare account with the below steps:

  •

  • IETL members must update their organization members on the CoSN website to give other users access to CoSN resources and documents.  Please see the below steps to update your organization roster.

    1. Log in to CoSN (Member Login in the top right corner)

    1. You will see 4 different rosters where you can add people to your organization for access to CoSN resources:
    1. Primary Contact Roster
      1. (This is the CTO/Director of Tech/Technology Dept Leader)
      2. Each organization must have one primary contact.
    2. Staff Roster
      1. (This is your technology staff, curriculum staff, superintendent, or other organization members who you want to have access to the CoSN website resources and register for the CoSN conference with your organization.)
      2. You can add an unlimited number of individuals to the Staff Roster.
    3. Billing Contact Roster
      1. (This is for the contact who should receive bills, invoices, and renewal notices.)
      2. Billing contact is optional. You should use it only if you have someone in accounting who you would like to have access to pay an invoice.
    4. Voting Members Roster
      1. (This is for any organization member you wish to allow to vote for CoSN board members.)
      2. CoSN uses the Voting Member Roster to distribute ballots, so if a person isn't listed there, they won't receive one (this could include you). If someone is added under the Voting Member Roster, there's no need to include them in the Staff Roster. However, if you add someone to the Primary/Billing/Staff Roster who is also a voting member, they must be added to the Voting Member Roster to receive a ballot.
      3. There's a limit of 10 voting members per organization.
